At Stables Wellbeing we are family team with an aim to provide you with a break from your everyday stresses of life. To allow yourself to un-plug from busy lives and re-charge your batteries. You can choose for a range of 3 and 4 day retreats where our aim is to rejuvenate and restore you, so you are ready to take on whatever life has to offer with renewed vigour.

We have created a place where you can give yourself the bit of nurturing that you deserve.

Join us for a Brecon Beacons retreat at our beautiful venue in the form of a renovated barn, where we can accommodate up to 12 guests across a range of room options, all ensuite, with underfloor heating. With flexible room and budget options, we encourage wellness retreats for solo travellers and couples of all genders to join us.

WELLNESS Retreats UK

Take time to focus on yourself to nurture your mind, body and soul. Our retreats are ideal for solo travellers and if coming with a friend. They are adult only and we limit numbers to create an inclusive group. You will have wonderful company and nurturing activities all supported with nourishing & satisfying food.

All retreats include meals, activities and staying in our luxury retreat accommodation set in the beautiful Brecon Beacons.

Venue Hire For Retreats

Run your own retreat, workshop or activity in your own exclusive space with flexible and luxurious accommodations that can sleep up to 12. 

We also provide delicious and nutritional Plant-based meals for your stay.

 

Energising Retreats

For a more active retreat with Paddle Board tuition, or Wim Hof Breathwork, Mind-setting and Cold Exposure, plus hill walks and variety of yoga and Pilates sessions, all suitable for beginners. All inclusive and nourished with great food

Is it suitable for me? What type of fitness levels/individuals attend your Retreats?

We have all abilities and levels attend our Retreats, you can work to your own ability with exercises modified to suit each individual. You will be encouraged by our trainers to try to push yourself to the next level. We have smaller groups so we can tailor to suit each individual.

Can I come alone?

Yes, we have set things up to encourage singles who can feel part of the group experiences. The sharing room has lots of space with individual areas and lockers. There are also en-suite toilets and shower. We also have room options which are great for couples, family and friends attending together. You can come as a single to share a room with another guest or have your own private room.

Are all meals provided? What does the package include?

Yes, all meals are provided, plus accommodation and activities are included in the price.

Do I need to be experienced?

No, we cater for all abilities and levels while on our retreat. 

What Is the accommodation like?

The accommodation is a mix of old and new. Contemporary décor in the a recently renovated grand stables/barn with various options of room types. The accommodation is all of a high quality, offering spacious power showers with features like no mist lighted mirrors in the bathrooms. All areas are spacious and of a high standard. Our guests first impression is often ‘Wow’.

How much weight will I lose?

At Stables Wellbeing we are not about weight loss, but more about healthy living. While on the retreat we encourage you to use our personal trainers’ knowledge to supply you with ways to improve your nutrition and regular exercise to foster optimum health.

Can I have treatments?

Yes, we offer a variety of massage treatments on locations.

What time does it start & how many attend?

You generally arrive at mid-afternoon and will ease you into your retreat on your first day. It finishes at 3.00pm on your last day. We accept up to 12 people so you get a lot of personal attention.

Do you cater for special diet needs

We offer a vegetarian and vegan food plan, and will try, where possible to adapt to dietary needs. Just let us know in advance.

I have my own group, do you offer tailor made/private packages?

Yes, we can tailor a retreat to your own specific requirements. Please email phil@stables-wellbeing.co.uk for more information and to put together a package for your group.

Do I need to bring my own Yoga / Pilates mat / Equipment

Many people prefer to use there own equipment but we have all you need on site.

I’ve attended a few retreats at the Stables from a number of day sessions to residential ones and I plan to continue to attend. I can not recommend this place enough!!
From possibly the best sleep I’ve ever had in the comfiest beds to some of the tastiest, nutritious food and not forgetting every single member of staff (who genuinely feel like friends/family when you leave).
Each retreat has held something different as the people who attend also influence how they go but I can hand on heart say I’ve met some of the loveliest, like minded people.
Gemma and the team are just amazing. Gemma is so knowledgable but never forceful or shoving information at you. She has always got alternatives available so effortlessly switches to provide what the retreat needs, ensuring that everyone gets the best from their time there.
Even the dogs provide a wonderful welcome
That’s not even mentioning the utterly stunning location for walks!

I booked myself on the autumn equinox retreat here a couple of months ago to stay in the sharing room. Then I panicked. I’ve never even shared a hotel room with a friend before and whist working myself up I instantly regretted my decision. 😳 I was so scared. BUT I faced my fears and went along anyway and WOW..!!! I am so happy I picked a sharing room now. I’ve made some really good friends who I will definitely be keeping in touch with (we are talking about a reunion already) 🙊. Late night chats and giggles made the trip a whole lot better!❤️
There were 4 others in different rooms and just like my roomies, we bonded and formed our own little tribe. It was so lovely to experience this amazing retreat with people with such different backgrounds but similar goals and outlooks too. When it was time to go home I cried like a baby.
The retreat itself was nothing like I expected! It was so much better and beyond amazing, I feel like over just 5 days I had found myself again and grown so much more.
Phil, Veronica, Gemma and Nat who run the retreats were the loveliest people you could imagine and had done an excellent job at packing a whole variety of wonderful activities into the 5 days. Yoga, Pilates, river walks, log fires, sound baths, reiki… I even climbed a mountain!!! Something else I never thought I would achieve. Also the food was to die for.. I wanted to take the chef home with me. 😋 Plant based and wholesome meals packed with nutrition.
I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to meet such lovely people and achieve so much myself at the same time. I can honestly say this retreat has changed my life! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
