Stables Wellbeing in Trap. Just 10mins from both Llandeilo and Ammanford. Our new venue has had an interesting history. The name is taken from its original purpose, as a very grand stables for returning war horse heroes from the Crimean War 1853 -1856. The house opposite was the Estate managers residence. In more recent times it was a cottage industry for the bottling of natural spring water. The rights to this were subsequently sold to Brecon Carreg. After this, its use changed again to become the ‘Trap Arts & Craft Centre-that operated for many years until it closed in 2006. Since its closure it has remained dormant, but now it opens as Stables Wellbeing, where we have kept the character of the building and retained many features.
In the grounds of Llwyn Dewi there are the remains of medieval chapel dating back to circa 800 AD.
